ControlWorks’ journey began in 2003, when founders Greg Rouse and Steve Taylor identified a clear opportunity in the Australian HVAC and building controls market - a need for smarter, more integrated building solutions delivered with technical depth and integrity.
What started as a small operation in Sydney has, over more than two decades, evolved into a group of specialist businesses - ControlWorks, ControlStore, PowerLink and EnergyLink - working collaboratively to deliver end-to-end Master System Integration solutions to the Australian market.
Today, ControlWorks is a leading Building Management Systems (BMS) integrator, delivering intelligent, future-ready technology solutions that improve building efficiency, performance and sustainability. We design, engineer, install, commission and maintain systems built on open, interoperable communication protocols, ensuring flexibility, scalability and long-term value.
With operations and sales offices across Australia and New Zealand, our team brings decades of combined experience in building management systems, supporting customers across complex and demanding environments with confidence and expertise.

Community Give Back
Our group community give back program is to ensure we work as a team to raise money and donate to important charities in our communities. We encourage our staff to work with local charities and we provide a charity day each year for each staff member to work with a charity of their choice.
Pink Ribbon Breakfast for National Breast Cancer Foundation
Our Pink Ribbon Breakfast was a great success and as a team, we have raised over $1000 for the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
