The hospital offers a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services, including general medicine, surgery, obstetrics and gynaecology, orthopaedics, cancer care, psychiatry and a 24-hour emergency department staffed by experienced doctors and nurses.

North Shore Private Hospital, located in St Leonards, New South Wales, is committed to providing exceptional outcomes. Building requirements

ControlWorks was contracted to provide the Building Management Control System (BMCS) for the Royal North Shore Hospital's north wing expansion. ControlWorks was also required to remove the old legacy Honeywell BMCS from the existing portion of the works as part of the contract.

Our Building Management Solution

ControlWorks installed a Tridium framework that has been integral in optimising the hospital's annual expenditure on electrical and gas usage.

More than 1,500 Building Management Control System points are now connected to the hospital's system, allowing more accurate monitoring and consumption of resources.

The framework has also helped to improve communication between different departments and has resulted in more efficient use of resources.

The Tridium AX framework is scalable and can easily expand to accommodate future growth. This makes it an essential part of the hospital's operations and ensures that it can continue providing high-quality care to its patients.

Today, ControlWorks is still involved with the day-to-day activities of the Hospital via a Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) Contract. This long-term relationship demonstrates a proven track record in delivering quality services that meet exacting standards on time and within budget.
